JAMES - the person
As already mentioned, James is the founder and lead administrator of FreshlyPressed, but even before this web hosting service was created, he was constantly getting his hands dirty in WordPress code, PHP and html. Once a moderator on the WordPress Support Forums, a member of Install4Free and generally just a very helpful guy to all and any, he now spends most of his time running FreshlyPressed, JamesICT and building websites for new customers and existing clients alike. His experience with WordPress and his passion for learning has seen him build [and now maintain] websites for personal blog users, small businesses, corporate companies, colleges and schools.
Quiet, modest and more of a 'back-room' type of guy, James is a hard working individual who cannot rest until a project is completed. His passion for website design and support has seen him working through the day and night on more than one occasion and combined with this insomniac behaviour, he is diligent and and committed in making sure that any project he undertakes, is always completed on time and with the most pleasing of results. As he says himself, he will never be rich, because his sheer desire to please others has always come first.
James is patient, polite and one of the good guys in a business where there are more than just a few unscrupulous people offering their services. No one has ever had a bad word to say about the guy but James will openly admit that sometimes he wishes he could say NO to people's requests.
With a mixed and versatile past, James' qualifications include being a qualified Cake and Patissiere Chef, a Cookery Chef, a specialist with a Thai Chef\'s Certificate, he holds a Bachelor of Theology and is a qualified School Teacher, having worked in both primary and secondary schools. His has developed Virtual Learning Environments within many of the schools in which he has taught and indeed, held the post of Senior VLE Administrator in a large secondary school for many years. But it is his passion for learning that has seem him excel in all of these areas. To put it bluntly, James is a perfectionist and as many of his friends jokingly describe him - an OCD freak!
James also writes novels in his spare time and is keen to start a series of children's books in the very near future. Knowing James, you can bet he will have it all done before any of us even think to mention it again.
As the creator of this WordPress theme, you can be assured that it will contain more than the eye first perceives, because James can never simply do something just to get it out there. His commitment to detail, adding individuality and making sure that absolutely everything is in order, ensures that this theme will be unique.
